LIMITED WARRANTY

BEST AUTO PARTS, INC. hereby warrants to the Purchaser that the used part or parts with which this warranty is given are serviceable and functional.

With respect to defect, if any, appearing within ninety (90) days from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified, Best Auto shall, at its discretion, provide either a replacement part or parts without charge to the Purchaser, or a refund of the purchase price.  Any clam under this warranty must be presented to Best Auto in writing within ten (10) days of the discovery of the defect or ninety (90) days after the date of purchase, whichever comes later.

The warranty shall be void if the part or parts are not returned to Best Auto in the same condition in which they are sold, or do not bear the identifying mark which appears on all Best Auto parts.  All returned parts must be accompanied by a sales receipt.  Best Auto shall not be responsible for any parts which have been altered, modified, disassembled or damaged by misuse or accident subsequent to purchase.  All costs and shipping charges incurred in the return of a part or parts are the responsibility of the Purchaser and are not included under this warranty.

Implied warranties on the products shall be in effect only for the duration of the express warranties, and upon conclusion of the express warranties, there shall be no warranties, express or implied, of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or otherwise on the product.  In no event shall Best Auto be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including labor costs for installation and removal or damage caused by the use of our parts or have any liability with respect to defects other than the obligations set forth above.  Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

Specific limitations on engines, transmission, rear ends and differentials are available below.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

LIMITED TRANSMISSION, REAR END AND DIFFERENTIAL WARRANTY

BEST AUTO PARTS INC. hereby warrants to the Purchaser that the gears, transmissions, rear ends with which this warranty is given, will be functional and serviceable.  On automatic transmissions sold hereunder, the torque converter, clutches, bands and all other internal moving parts are covered.  Externally replaceable seals are not covered for any parts sold hereunder, nor is gear breakage in any transmission covered by this limited warranty covered hereunder.

The customer should inspect transmissions and rear ends before installing them, and Best Auto will not be liable for damage resulting from defects which reasonably should have been discovered by the Purchaser prior to his installation of the part covered under this limited warranty.

LIMITED ENGINE WARRANTY

BEST AUTO PARTS INC.  hereby warrants to the Purchaser that the engine with which this warranty is given, will be functional and serviceable.  This guarantee covers the head, block, crank, camshaft, and rods.  This warranty does not cover exterior engine accessories, including, but not limited to, carburetors, fuel pumps, distributors or manifolds.  No representations are made, expressly or otherwise, regarding mileage on any of the parts covered by this limited warranty.
